This Privacy Policy explains how Japan Biz Desk and Mariko Sasaki (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”) handle personal information collected through japanbizdesk.com, the Japan Entry Route Check, the Japan Entry Readiness Checklist, our email communications and direct enquiries.

• your email address when you request the checklist or join our email list;
• your name, business email, company information, stage, timing and the details you voluntarily include in a Route Check or other enquiry;
• subscription activity, such as email delivery, opens, clicks and unsubscribe status; and

• deliver the Japan Entry Readiness Checklist;
• send the seven-email practical guide and, after it ends, the weekly Japan Business with Mariko email;
• review and reply to Route Check submissions and other service enquiries;

3. Email choice and consent

We send marketing and educational emails only after you sign up through the checklist form. Submitting a Route Check does not add you to that marketing list. You can withdraw your email consent at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us. Unsubscribing stops future marketing emails, but it does not prevent us from replying to a message you send directly.

4. Service providers and international processing

We use trusted service providers to operate this website and our communications. These may include Resend for email subscriptions and delivery, Google Workspace for business email, and website hosting and infrastructure providers.
